Floor Barre + Stretching
Saturday Dec 7 – 3.30 – 4,30 pm
Floor Barre + Stretching is ideal for dancers, athletes, injured or older participants. It is a mix of muscle-strength training and stretching exercises. By strengthening the torso and correcting the posture it helps to avoid and ease back pain and to execute movements in the everyday life as well as in dance in a correct way. The result is not only healthy but also develops strong leg and torso muscles and beautiful lines. It is the perfect start into a dance day as the first class of the day.
Beata – Classic Oriental
Saturday Dec 7 – 4.45 – 6.15 pm Part 1 and Sunday Dec 8 – 5 -6.30 pm Part 2
A classical ouverture is like the business card of a dancer. Be elegant, powerful yet individual. Beata will explain the structure of the music so it will be much easier to remember the choreography. In addition to clear clear technique and beautiful transitions Beata will add a bit of cheek and freshness.
Ballet
Sunday Dec 8 – 2-3 pm
Perhaps you always wanted to dance or took classes as a child and have never forgotten the joy of the beautiful movements? As a grown up you can still experience the feeling for gracefulness, elegance and freedom of movement. The workshop contains basic technique without the need for extreme flexibility but a sense of lines and coordination. Ballet enhances the feeling for structure, use of space and is a useful base and problem solver (turns, balance) for all dance styles.

Like in most Tarab songs it is all about love and heart ache. Drama at its best! Take an emotional ride into an inner world of longing and passion.
Cymbals
Saturday Dec 7 8 – 8.30 pm
Even though the beginning of playing cyls can be a test for your stamina but playing cyls is definitely a part of Oriental dance! Cheer up, take a deep breath and find out why dancers love playing them since hundreds of years!

Dinner and Dance- we would love to end the weekend with a nice dinner. Perhaps some of the workshop participants want to perform. This will certainly be highly appreciated by all fellow dancers! Please let us know if you want to join in. We also appreciate suggestions of suitable restaurants.
Tea Time after the Repetiton Class Dec 14! Whether a nice Café for some Kaffeeklatsch or christmas market Glühweinstand, lets have a cosy time together. Who knows the perfect place?
